The final project conference, Music for Audio-Visual Media II, will be held on Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 June 2016. Papers, themed panels, screen scores and short films dealing with any aspect of music and sound in and for audio-visual media are encouraged and welcomed by the conference committee. Ian and Laura joined film-music colleague Dr Dave Ireland (University of Leeds) to deliver a joint session to sixth-form Media students at Elliott Hudson College in Leeds.
The project team will be delivering a lecture to students at Bradford College on Friday 26 February, focused on Trevor Jones and his compositional approaches to scoring film and television productions.

Public screening of the 1993 film In the Name of the Father, starring Daniel Day Lewis and Pete Postlethwaite, with a short illustrated talk before the film in which the Trevor Jones project team will introduce and draw on unique archival materials to shed new light on the development of Jones's. Public screening of the acclaimed 2014 film Still Alice preceded by an interview with the film score's composer, Ilan Eshkeri, and live performance of parts of the score by members of the London Metropolitan Orchestra. Tickets £7.
The 2nd project conference, Audio-Visual Archives, will be held at the British Library. It features papers on the use and management of audio-visual archives, and addresses questions regarding copyright and IP on the items held within them.

The School of Music will host a Conference on Music for Audio-Visual Media on 4-6 September 2014 to mark the end of year 1 of the Trevor Jones Film-Music project.
